谐振式光子晶体光纤陀螺谐振腔优化技术研究

摘要:
针对谐振式光子晶体光纤陀螺重要的传感部件——谐振腔的关键技术进行优化研究。首先,对谐振腔重要参数进行仿真优化,使其满足谐振腔高清晰度的要求,根据Matlab仿真结果,确定参数优化的主要原则;然后针对光子晶体光纤与普通保偏光纤熔接损耗较大的问题以及偏振噪声问题,提出一种新型光子晶体光纤耦合器,能够有效避免偏振串扰的影响。采用全矢量FDBPM对耦合器的耦合传输特性进行数值仿真,耦合特性表明,传输偏振模的耦合长度较短,在谐振式光子晶体光纤陀螺的小型化方面具有一定的优势。

The Optimization of Resonator for Resonator Optic Gyro with Photonic Crystal Fiber

Abstract:
As an important sensing part of resonator optic gyroscope with photonic crystal fiber, resonator has been optimized. Firstly, the important parameters of the resonator are simulated and optimized, so that it meets the requirement of high finesse. According to MATLAB simulation results, the main principles of parameter optimization are determined. Then, aiming at the problem of large splicing loss of photonic crystal fiber and ordinary polarization maintaining fiber and the problem of polarization noise, a new type of photonic crystal fiber coupler is proposed, which can effectively avoid the influence of polarized crosstalk. The coupling propagation characteristics of the coupler are numerically simulated by full vector FD-BPM. The coupling characteristics show that the coupling length of the transmission polarization mode is short, which has some advantages in the miniaturization of resonator optic gyroscope with photonic crystal fiber.
